       Did your talents start during childhood, or were you a late bloomer?

 If you ask the average young child if they can sing, they will not only say yes, but will gleefully give you a tuneful demonstration.  Put on music and another young child will break out in very creative moves.   Put a blank sheet of paper in front of a child, containers of paint, a brush, and watch the colors come alive!               The drawing above showing the artist with other heroines catching the bank robbers. It was created by a 5 year old girl; see her comic strip directly below;

When did you lose the joy in creating what delighted you?
       Far too many people have told me that they used to enjoy expressing themselves in creative ways, but as they grew older, often felt ridiculed as though their creations were the object of disapproval and criticism.
Creativity is a gift-- a gift that often requires courage.
        It's difficult to persist when faced with other's ridicule or negative thoughts and comments but refuse to let other's fearfulness stop you from pursuing what delights you and brings you joy, pleasure and relaxation.

It's time to relax,..
                         unwind...
                                      release stress...

What a talented little girl! I think God blesses all of us with a hidden talent. It really is just a matter of what it takes to bring it out of us. When I was severely ill and in the hospital, I discovered I had a talent for writing and have been doing it ever since. You never know when a talent can come out of you, but it often does.

I've heard so many people speak about talents surfacing during a particularly difficult time in their lives. For a brief period, they remove us from the problem and offer us comfort. Keep writing, Janiera!

That is one amazing lady! And I totally agree with what you're saying here, that's why I often tell others to never lose their 'childish innocence' and to just continue doing what they truly want no matter what other people may say. Sometimes, we really need to develop some 'thick skin' in us against society's words.

For my case, I discovered when I was young that I had a talent for arts and design. Due to outside influences, I was swayed to go to another path but I'm glad that I found my way back again. In fact, years ago, my love for design helped me to become a traveler and entrepreneur today!
