About the Author–
Marian Miller has a doctorate in psychology and more than 25 years experience in the mental health field, many of those years spent working with children and adolescents. Vulnerable children in particular, have always held a special place in her heart. She has found her work with young people inspiring – particularly their resilience, courage, and hope for the future, captured in Light on Water.
"I struggled with my own mental health during adolescence
and young adulthood. If I can help someone else avoid
unnecessary pain, then I've served my purpose."
Those who love her call her by many names; she’s known as wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her passions are traveling, writing, and delving though the minds and hearts of others for hidden gems.
Ms. Miller, her husband and children, live in the countryside near Portland, Oregon.
